A new cuvee of Gevrey that's different from their standard bottling. It's solely from 1955 vines planted high up above the village on the combe of Les Evocelles just below the 1er Cru Champeaux. The wine shows lovely fine perfume real finesse with lovely glide and weight on the palate. Compared to the standard bottling of Gevrey it's obviously this section of the village slope is a special terroir and the Collottes have now chosen to showcase its tremendous qualities. A very complete wine with all the pixelations filled in. Good to go now with a decant but will develop more complexity with some cellar time. Considering the quality a bargain!
